Towards a common European mobility data space (EMDS)

The common European mobility data space (EMDS) aims to facilitate data access, pooling and sharing for more efficient, safe, sustainable and resilient transport. It builds on initiatives and applications related to transport data and will be supported by initiatives to boost interoperability, security, and the availability and provision of data and services.

deployEMDS is a project co-funded under the EU Digital Europe Programme and responds to its outlined challenges. The project will help make the common European mobility data space a reality.  The initiative will cultivate a broad European ecosystem of data providers and users, facilitating the adoption of common building blocks. 16 use cases from nine EU countries will contribute to the development of innovative services and applications. More information at deployEMDS.

Within the project there is the Innovation and Scaling Group (attached slide desk as a reference).

The call for applications to join the Innovation and Scaling Group (ISG) is ongoing. There is still room for new applicants especially for companies, SMEs, startups interested in collaborations in Mobility data spaces.
